The Food Of Hell From Indonesia

Famous as one of the best tropical countries, Indonesia provides tons of uniqueness and excitement. Its nature, culture, and art always bring millions of tourist each year. However, this time we are going to talk about one thing, Indonesia’s cuisine, in particular Sambal.
Sambal or sambel is infamous among tourist as the food of hell for its undeniable ability to make the consumer produces tears and sweat when eating. Produced using chili as its main ingredient, sambal is indeed taste extremely spicy.
Sambal is made by grinding ‘cabai’ or chili, along with several complements such as onion, cherry,  tomato, ‘terasi’, sugar, and salt. The ingredients are grinded using traditional tool made usually from wood or plastic. The texture is smooth with a vibrant color of green and red, depending on which chili you use.
Chilies in Indonesia, unlike black peppers and gingers, are more likely to be in your grip with its raw form. And that perchance what makes it feel more intimate. The chili commonly takes the form of an elongated red or green color of fruit with its size usually no longer than, and not as wide as your little finger. Here in this country you could see assorted fritter (gorengan) street vendors subconsciously put raw chilies along with the fritters into their customers’ paper bags. Indonesian will bite the raw chili first, then the fritter, then the chili again, and repeated until it ends. In some small, neighborhood restaurants, they will also put bowls of chilies on the tables, just in case you will need it to complement the fritters or to spice up your noodle. Chilies can also be served intact in the form of a bottled pickle, which is mixed together with water, vinegar, salt, sugar, as well as diced carrots, shallots, and cucumbers—this condiment normally works for noodle or fried rice.
Infamous among tourists for its spiciness, many tourists avoid it. However, some of them are challenged and try to eat it. Those who dare to try usually will get stomach ache or turn very red and sweaty in the face. Though super spicy, locals eat it in almost daily basis as their main meal.

1. Several complements such as onion, cherry,  tomato, ‘terasi’, sugar, and salt. This part of the sentence is incorrect because usually sambal is made without cherry. as you know cherry tastes too sweet and it doesn't suit well with sambal. But you can use cherry tomato.
2. Sambal is indeed taste extremely spicy. This part is incorrect. People use variety of chilli in sambal, so not all sambal is extremely spicy.
3.Though super spicy, locals eat it in almost daily basis as their main meal. I know that asian usually related to spicy food, but based on what i see in my daily life, most asian can't eat spicy.
